Tax Time!!!!!

Yep its that time a year again! It seems like we just did this but 2020 is here and 2019 taxes are due April 15th.
Most of us got some time as we wait for all our tax documents but its never to soon to start getting organized. Make sure you have maximized your HSA accounts and IRA’s for 2019. Start organizing your receipts so when your documents arrive your ready to see your Tax Pro. If your expecting a refund its never to soon to get back your money back. It has been sitting interest free all of last year in the Governments coffers. If your going to owe you should get your taxes done early just so you know where you stand. Nobody likes scrambling at the last minute trying to figure out how to pay the bill. You can file now and wait till April 15th to make your payment giving you ample time to make arrangements and avoid expensive IRS payment plans. Just a word of caution don’t get to excited. Make sure you have everything before filing. Amending returns can be expensive. Its a paper return and could cause even a greater delay in getting all your money back. Good Luck this year and hopefully you will breeze through this years tax season with no issues. You will also put a big smile on your tax pros face if you don’t wait till the 11th hr to get things done. Have a great & prosperous 2020
